the key word you are using is “kids”… those parents also have ulterior motives with suing people for skateboarding their property… any moral person would know that the owner is never at fault… but this is the world we live in… money, money, money… thanks for the insight!

Guys.. I love the freedom that comes from tearing it up and mastering new obstacles you discover along the your way. But, even though you showed some restraint, you left without him understand you, or you understand him… No he wasn’t afraid of you guys… he was afraid of his liability (his responsibility) for you.
Believe it or not… owners get sued by parents of nice kids like yourself all the time. Guys like Mike who took on an obstacle beyond his ability and ended up injuring himself. Courts have even fined owners who had “keep out signs” or “beware signs,”, because it proved they knew a problem existed, so, it became their responsibility. Now I know your saying, “no way… that’s crazy…” And your right it is, but it happens all the time… So yeah… the old guy was afraid.. but not “of you..” but “for you..”
