club(house) goodbye…

well, the warehouse is gonna be history pretty soon… it was not that difficult of a decision to make for myself… it costs money that i don’t have… neither does noLove… it is time to try to save some dough and also invest in some other fun aspects of the skateboarding world…

there are definitely some downsides to the idea of shutting things down too… the memories are always going to be there, but the opportunity to meet new people will be gone because the warehouse is gone… the best part of the warehouse was the celebrating of life and skateboarding… although there was a limit to how much shredding could go down, people always made the most of it… we saw some amazing things happen at both club(house) locations… the skateboarding was raw and sick…

when the winter comes, it’ll be a cold one for sure… much colder than the previous 3… i just could not rationalize the amount of money i was pissing away during the summer… we are almost never at the club in the summertime… it became a burden more than a luxury this summer… and that was the saddest realization of my summer so far… but with all changes comes new opportunities… i am excited to embark on a new journey within the skateboarding industry…

i definitely took into consideration that some people would be disappointed… but understand that i am not happy to shut this skate spot down… i am bummed… but i think it will free me up to do some more positive things for noLove and skateboarding… maybe it’ll come back… you never know!

i appreciate everyone’s help and support throughout the entire existence of the warehouse… i remember every nail, screw, 2×4, sheet of mesonite, piece of metal, etc. that we all put into this place… it should have shown you that we are capable of great things…

yeah, we are just people… but when we come together, anything is possible.

peace and noLove…
