labor…

i’ve been working a labor intensive job for the last few weeks… i can’t help but think about how hands-on labor has been de-valued by businesses all over the world… when did this start? who started it? i am not complaining about my pay or anything like that… i genuinely want to know why the worker gets less than the thinker…

cheap labor has been a huge part of business for awhile now… even though we know about the many companies that indulge in exploiting manual labor, we still support and buy their products (nike)…

why do we consciously do this? or maybe people don’t know… either way, why is it a secret?

just wanted to bring up the idea of manual labor being less important than thinking… it’s interesting…

peace and noLove…

Manual labor gets no love because there is no specialized knowledge that is needed to lift, carry, or pound a hammer. I have worked manual labor most of my life and I understand how it is devalued. The fact that American companies exploit labor workers by giving them minimal pay also adds to this problem. If one expands their mind and rises above minimal paying jobs, i can respect that and also understand why the thinker overcame the hardship of extensive labor for the rest of their life. PEACE!
